WRITERS: ANDRE LUIS OLIVEIRA is a teacher and interacts with children daily. Together, they make great discoveries through reading, dramatizations, games, and play. He is the author of several books for children and young adults, such as Bichos Diversos; Ô,mole!; and O Pequeno Baobá, in addition to the accessibility game (Ministry of Education), and writes articles on education and literature.
Marciano Vasques was born in Santos in 1952. He published 38 books, in addition to participating in several anthologies. He held degrees in philosophy and pedagogy, specializing in children's and young adult literature. For decades, he was a teacher in the São Paulo municipal public school system. After his death in 2016, he was honored with the naming of the municipal early childhood education school Professor Marciano Vasques Pereira, also in São Paulo.
ILLUSTRATOR: VANESSA ALEXANDRE was born in São Paulo and has worked in the publishing market for over 12 years as an author and illustrator of children's and young adult literature for publishers in Brazil and abroad. A participant in major exhibitions such as Cowparade, she was also selected for the third edition of the Refugiarte exhibition, by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), in addition to conducting literary workshops and activities on illustration. She published the book *Learn How to Raise a Pet Dragon* with [publisher name missing].
